it's the lunar new year!

It's the lunar new year and we're gonna get fat no time! :( Hehe! But anyways, I'm happy that we can raise funds for ourselves when we grow up. Let me tell you about the times I've spent during the lunar new year.
Day 1-- We first thought of going to my lao yi's house but in the end, it was all squeezed to the second day. Then, my mum said that me and my brother were supossed to visit a temple as what she said the TV told the pple who were watching. She said that me and my brother have to go to the Joo Chiat Temple to pray to the GOD. Then we were told that for people like me and my brother have to pray tomorrow. Then, we received a surprising phone call from my lao yi. She said that if we were free, we could go and visit her now and meet up with the other people. At that moment, my father said that if we could stop by to my sis god father's house, that would be great. So we stop by to my sis godfather's house and then we could visit lao yi again as it was on the way. We went into the lift and then praticed saying happy new year greetings to people cause that was the only thing that when we went visiting was, " Eh! Happy New Year!" (shake hands) So we were laughing in the lift. So we ate lots of new year goodies like love letters, ba gua chocolates and lots more...After a few 'kind' donations, we headed straight for lao yi's house. We said the same old things and I saw my father nephew, uncle chew and his family so me and my brother played with thier children. Then we ate a lot of things again and then, Uncle Chew invited us to his house at around 5-6 o'clock. So after more kind donations, we went home and took some rest before heading to our next destination.
I gotta go now as it's the second day of new year and my sister is challenging me to stress so bye and I'll tell you about my lunar new year next time in the next post!!

my achievement day...

Did you notice something? I went for a time trial at Toa Payoh swimming pool on the 22nd of Jan this year. I have a daily lesson on Mon and Wed each week. But on Sunday, we will have an early time trial and that is to test your timing on the style you have been selected.
I was in Lane 1 and wave 11. Wave 11 means group 11. I was in the same group as the friend i met on the 1st lesson of my time. Her name was called Lok Si Ying. She was in the same wave as me but in a diferent lane. She was in Lane 8.
When my turn came, I was nervous and my feet started wobbling like jelly. I was swimming 50m breastroke first and then 50m freestyle. My breaststroke timing was 59.81 sec. It was unbelievable because it had exceeded my expectations. But the most wonderful thing that I am proud of is my freestyle. I did not expect that I would be in the 1st place for that. My timing was 48.91 sec. I was happy like crazy. I really did not wanted this to happen in my whole life. Also, another great thing is that I saw my classmate was there too. She was in another kind of team. She would have to come EVERYDAY for swimming lessons. Wouldn't it be so tiring? But the thing about her is that she is strong, fit and healthy. In running, she is always the 1st girl in our class. Her name is called Chloe Chan. That was the girl that I went to her birthday party last year on the 8th of Oct. I am really happy to know her as my friend because she is kind, clever and, you know, very...aiyah! I don't know how to say. She is a terrific girl. How wonderful it would feel to be like her! Anyways, I am really happy and proud of my achievement!!!!

i'm lovin it!

Today is my first day of school and i was so nervous but at the same time excited. I was nervous because I'm not familiar with the other people in my class.I was excited because I wanted to see my friends again as I have not seen them for the past one and a quarter months.
When I went into the classroom, everybody went staring into my eyes as if I was an antique that has not been seen for a thousand years. The only thing is that my good o'l friends did not look at me in that kinda way. You know that when pple look at you in that way, you feel tensed up and want to say like, "Hey! Don't think that you look at me in that way I'm scared of you ok!"
But when our form teacher, Mrs Wong, arranged us in height, I was standing right next to my friend. But when I was sitting in the seat, I sat with my another friend. But I knew that friend for aroung 3 years and we have not lost contact yet.
Anyway, I'm just gonna study hard and do my very best to show that nobody is ever stupid or the most clever one. I just wanna prove to everyone that I can do it, as long as I try my very best. I just hope that I can do well in my PSLE this year and aim into the school that I wanna go.
Today, my maid was laughing to my mother that her handphone, someone wanted to buy her handphone for a larger and more better price. She say that if maybe she go and see the price, she could sell the phone and then my mother try to buy another phone for me and maybe she can but the one that I want. Flip phone, that's it man. I just need a flip phone and that's it! If I can have that , I'm so damn happy and will show plesant results. GOD BLESS ME!!
