an outing with yy

Hey peeps. Oh ya! Here's another blog entry to tell you a short experience with yy. Last sunday on the 24th august, i was supposed to go out with yy, yan jie, alethea and sheryl tan for dong bang shopping at plaza sing cause there got comics connection. Then alethea and sheryl tan's couldn't come so then i was left with yy and yan jie. Then on the day when we were supposed to go out, yan jie messaged yy and told her that she couldn't come so yy asked me whether still on or not. I said still on. So i went to plaza sing with her.
I went to yy's place cause she just woken up and haven't had her breakfast and she also haven't bathed so i went to her house first. Then while she was bathing, i went to use her computer. Then we took an mrt from hougang to doby gaut. Yy's friend said that there was this shop that sold nice dong bang posters and so we went there. It wasn't in plaza sing so we walked there from the mrt station. There was this underground passageway then me and yy thought must go down from there to the shop but i saw this woman's face and got freaked out cause i thought that it was like a ghost. Hahas. When i got freaked out, yy also was freaked out.
So it turned out that it was just a small underpass. We then went up again and went into this shopping centre which was in construction but still open. We went to the shop but it was closed. So sad. Yy's friend said that there were nice dong bang posters there. I wanted to buy the posters. So we went to the comics connection shop in plaza sing. When we were on our way there, we saw that there were some people holding onto kotex samples. We wanted to get them. We saw this huge fair outside plaza sing and it was promoting kotex's you know what la. This guy wearing sunglasses used the whistle and whistled at us. He gave us the free sample and then asked us to take a photo. I saw that it was like a channel u tv kinda programme so i told yy that we shouldn't take. What if we appeared on tv? Then how? So then we said that we don't want but we were sort of asked by some of the other promoters to take.
We took a photo and the background was travelling. At first they asked us whether we wanted to wear the accessories but we said we just want to take with our normal clothes on. I'll show you the photo later. Then they gave us a goodie bag and you can guess what is inside. They asked us if we were 15 years old but we told them we were 14. They said that it was a pity cause only ages 15 and above can join. If your photo selected then can win 4K. 4K le! Can buy don't know how many dong bang stuffs already. So they asked for either one of our contact numbers so i gave mine. They said that they would send the photo over once they get it done. We were damn pai seh. Then we went into plaza sing's comics connection to buy the dong bang stuffs. I bought a dong bang poka card stack and so did yy. I bought another dong bang notebook which is quite nice.
Then we went to watch a movie. We wanted to watch money no enough but the timing was quite late so we watched meet dave. It was quite funny but i think money no enough would be funnier. The name of dave in the movie was dave ming chang. Hahas. So funny... After the movie, we went back to hougang mall as yy wanted to buy one of the dong bang concert cd or is it the dvd. Anyways, because the thing didn't have subtitles so she didn't buy. We then went to buy teachers' day gifts at gift a name.
Aiyah! It was such a damn pai seh day for us. Heh heh. Well, here the picture that we took. I'll show it to you, as i promised. The kotex company sent the picture to my e-mail.

holidays don't always seem like holidays

Hey peeps! Holidays are here. Yay... I'm not that happy that holidays are here cause when secondary school starts, holidays will always not seem to feel like holidays. Sigh! I know that i've not been updating my blog lately. It's due to the number of commitments that i have. Got piles and piles of homework to do and also there's the greatest challenge of all... The EOY exams. Why does it always have to occur at this point of time. But still, can't escape away forever right?
Recently i have been quite sick. Got quite a bad cough. I've got flem in my throat and a very blocked and runny nose. It's irritating. On wednesday's choir practice, lots of people fell sick and they went home. Clara was sick so she had to rest at home. Most of the leaders had either something on or they were sick so the choir was like sort of dead. Not really dead but aiyah... Don't want to be so bad. Still okay but not as good with the SLs around la. Every section only got like 1 SL or even none. I was sitting and i did not sing also cause of my cough. The choir tried to prove to ms lim that they could sing well.
Ms lim said that she wanted to take away the song como tu and she wanted to change it into another song for us to sing at SYF. She said that she would choose another piece which is easier for us. That's because when the last part of como tu, where there was all the tu... tu... tu... thingy, then got one part only got suzanne and jocelyn singing so not very loud. Then ms lim left when she realised that there were only 2 people singing that part.
Aiyah! So sian. Anyways, sorry for the late update and i have to rest now so that i can get well soon for this friday's practice. I take medicine also never get better. A bit la but not fully recovered. Aiyoh! Tomorrow i also got some 2 day course to attend from morning till night so must also rest early. Bye. Sniff... Cough!! :(

tkd nationals

Hey peeps! Today, me, crystal, wei lin, farid and siti fought for nationals. All of us got hurt somewhere. Farid got hurt on his left toe where it was bleeding quite a lot. He got hurt halfway through the match and ma'am threw white towel and it ended. His toe was quite serious. His opponent was wesley ong, i think.
Siti hurt her back and her arm. Her opponent liked to do the cheq (don't know how to spell it but it's about there la) kick and then siti had a back injury before when she went to nationals as well so she was quite afraid that her opponent might use the kick and she will fall backwards. In the end, siti and farid went home due to their injury which was quite serious. But siti managed to secure a bronze medal for herself.
For wei lin, her 1st opponent walked over. Her 2nd opponent fought with her and liked to hit her upper arm. Her upper arm became damn red and had little red spots on it. Very scary... We all had to use the muscular spray to sort of reduce the 'PAIN' in our injury. Wei lin's injury was not as bad as siti or farid's one so it was sort of an okay injury. Although the match was tough, she managed to get a bronze medal. She fought with a black belt.
For crystal's injury, it wasn't so bad but she got hit badly at her front foot and it was red and sort of swollen. She fought all the way till the end and got a gold medal. She is a GOLD MEDALIST leh. Good hor! Hahas. Well, she was happy and contented with her performance although she came back tired, sweaty and injured after her final match.
As for me, i got injured at my upper arm and my front foot as well. My opponent liked to stick to me as we fought along. I always try to push her away so that i can kick but she forced her whole self on me. She hit my upper arm quite a lot of times and my upper arm was like wei lin's. Red and had little dots on it. But my upper arm injury wasn't as bad a wei lin's. Hers was one big patch but mine is just a small one. For my front foot, wah i tell you. Damn freaking pain you know! I don't think i can even walk properly now you know! My left, front foot is like swollen and red. Cause i usually use my left foot more than my right foot. My left leg is sort of my master leg. I didn't injure my right foot but my left foot is SUPER DUPER PAIN. Hope that the swollen part on my leg subsides quickly.
Luckily, i managed to get a bronze medal also. Aiyah! Bronze is like those anybody can get one so even though you got a bronze also not that great. I lost to my opponent by 1 point. The score was 2 vs 3. I was blue and my opponent was red. My opponent black belt some more le. So that's what makes it scary for me to fight with her.
I have a OH BA KA (is it how you spell it? i'm not sure) on my left hand also. Cause before nationals we had extra training. On tuesday, we were training and i had to hold the upper target for crystal and ma'am told me to hold higher for her as she said she could reach it. When crystal kicked, it was okay but she hit my hand quite a lot of time. Then got blue black there. Until now haven't okay. I put the muscle cream to massage there also not much of a use.
Then my near my hand, my left joint of the thumb also injured. Last time NAPFA we had to do shuttle run. They replaced 2 blocks instead of using 2 small beanbags. When i went to get my 1st block, i bent the joint of my left thumb and until now, i still cannot bend my left joint comfortably. Aiyah! Why everything also suay suay left side injured? I left hander some more. Sianz. How to write like that? How to walk har? Aiyoh!!!
Anyways, today was HAPPY MOST INJURY DAY for me. I'm going to start limping on my way to school and writing slowly for work that has to be done in school tomorrow. But must see first. Must see whether i can tahan the pain or not. If i really cannot write and walk comfortably, then maybe i'll start to limp and write slowly. Ahh!!! Get the pain off me! :(

obi obi was painful

Hey peeps. Well, today during pe, the people who didn't run the 2.4 had to run so only some supporters went to support those who didn't or ran but want to run again. Me, chen yun, shi hui, deborah, wai sze, nawirah, ernie and athena saw that there were quite a lot of supporters so we didn't really ran with them.
Instead, shi hui and nawirah taught us how to play obi obi (not sure how to spell). It's something like Ouch. It's like everyone sit in a circle, then everyone is given a number but you cannot say it out. So then someone will call out a number. For example, i was sitting beside wai sze and shi hui and my number is 3. If someone calls 3, then i can either hit wai sze or shi hui with one 'slap'. Heh heh. Then normally when people hit you you would say ouch right? But in obi obi, you cannot say ouch. The person beside wai sze or shi hui has to say ouch for you. If you say ouch, you get a forfeit. Then the person next to the person who says ouch has to say obi obi. Lastly, the person beside the person who says obi obi will call out the next number.
We had so much fun playing the game together, although we got quite a big lump of 'luncheon meat' on our thighs. Wai Sze was damn funny. But when it comes to hitting you, she is scary. She hit my right thigh until now it is like filled with small patches and it is RED, SUPER DUPER RED! That thing came after we played it during music in class. The last period which was music and we had to stay in class due to the MEP exam in beethoven room. So deborah requested that we played obi obi again. I knew that i was going to suffer again and get another pack of 'luncheon meat' during the 2nd time we played it.
This time, most of the people played. Hmm... Let me think. The people who played obi obi during music were me, nawirah, athena, shalyn, elyn, shawn, esther, ernie, chen yun, deborah, nicole, sheryl tay, wai sze, shi hui, victoria and ya, i think that's about it. So we played again. I can remember the numbers that were given to me. During pe was 3 and 5. Then during music was 5 and 8. Wai sze and nawirah was sitting beside me and it was FREAKING PAINFUL. I tortured wai sze ad she tortured me back. Hahas. Anyways, we had a really great time playing together like a class bonding game.
Well, had a great time today, especially with my classmates. Haven't felt like this before for a long long time. Anyways, gotta go now. Tomorrow got maths tuition. Sianz. Bye! :D

Journey to the Centre of the Earth

Hey peeps. Today i went to vivo to watch journey to the centre of the earth with sheryl tan and sheryl tay. It was a nice show. Sheryl tan and sheryl tay kept saying that the boy in show, don't know whether is his name seon or shawn. That is the character movie name, not his real name. His age is the same as us, 14. They keep saying that he is handsome and cute. Huh? And then i was like okay... Heh heh. Well, we had quite a good time today.
There is a another thing that i'm happy about. I FINALLY BOUGHT DONG BANG PHOTOS!!! Yay! Hahas. I know la, any dong bang fan can afford that but it was my savings from this week's pocket money ok. The photos cost me $6.50 for 10 photos which meant that 1 photo cost $0.65 but they are damn nice. Especially CHANGMIN who looked so cute in the photos. By the way, when i went to the shoe shop with the Sheryls, Sheryl tan saw this SUPER HIGH HEELED shoe and said, "This shoe is so cute!" I replied back, "Changmin is cuter..." Hahas. She was like, "I don't know you liao. You and your changmin har! Humph!" Hahas. So funny...
Anyways, so sian. Today national day holiday and then tomorrow need to go back to school liao. Haiz. But thinking about it, the term 3 holidays are coming up. Yays. However, not for long, 1 week after the term 3 holidays is our final term ca. Ahhh!!! Scary eh? Just think about it, it really freaks you out by A LOT! Ok, i told myself to calm down and sort the days out. Like say when it's time to play, you can play like mad. When it's time to study and drill, drill it HARD! Heh heh. But i always get carried away la, that's the problem. Everytime i study halfway, must walk a bit or not like can die.
Aiyoh! So irritating. And i always get those kind of 'exam fright'. This time it's not stage fright but like when i see the paper, most of the time all the things that i know just goes BLACK. Like will comfirm blank out you know. I hope that i can overcome this problem and also my careless mistakes problem. It has been following me FOREVER! Haiz. See you then, bye! :D

happy 43rd birthday singapore

Hey peeps. Well, first of all, HAPPY 43rd BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE! Wah seh. Singapore quite old already. But, still young at heart. Today we had national day celebration plus carnival day. We led with the singing of the national anthem which wasn't that good. Heh heh. Aiyah!
Then for the sec 2s, we had to host the children from the touch community child care centre, i think. It was quite okay but for my class, 2 of them cried. It was quite okay that we managed to control them quite well. I wouldn't say that it was good but it was fine. Some of the were quite excited when it was time for them to go back. Especially mimi's 'child'. He kept crying whenever nurul talked and when mimi talked to him them he stopped crying.
So we had the national day celebration and ended at like 10.45am. So me, yan jie, yy and sheryl tan decided to have lunch together at hougang mall and then go to yy's house to just play. We reached her house quite early so i also brought along my dong bang stickers that i bought from comics connection. I was feeling so broke after i bought them. Sianz. I brought my sticker book also so that when i have not much to do then i can stick them into the book.
We were happily eating our lunch at hougang mall's macdonalds when i started talking about how my pets died or dissapeared. I talked about my hamsters, tortise, fish, bird and also yan jie and sheryl tan kept laughing at the LUO HAN YU JOKE. So crazy. Yan jie laughed so crazily that it affected sheryl tan.
When we went to yy's house, we played the dong bang songs then yan jie and yy went to play the organ cause they learnt music from that mahs. Yy took out her old guitar and then me and sheryl tan were playing around with it. We played the tune, wise men says and titanic. Then while we were playing halfway, don't know whether is it yy or yan jie asked us to go down then they played a duo version of love in the ice by dong bang shin ki on the organ.
Sadly, time passed quite quickly and i was suppose to go back at 4pm wit sheryl tan but then i delayed the time by watching the funny videos that i let yy and yan jie as well as herself watch. We watched 3 funny videos. We watched the funny and weird voices that yun ho and jae joong made, funny dances that they did. Changmin danced like michael jackson. Yoo Chun's dance was the super funny one. The last video that we watched was introduced by yy which was that they went to a village to cheer up the old people there. Damn funny la.
Well, then at around 4.30pm or around like 4.30 something then we left. Me and sheryl tan walked towards that direction that was towards my house as she was walking home to her aunt's house which was near my house. Yy sent yan jie off to the hougang mrt station as she stayed at tampines and wasn't really quite sure of the north east line. Cause she always don't come to this kind of area.
We had a realy fun time there. Especially with yan jie, yy and sheryl tan. These 3 people made me laugh like mad. At first zhi jun wante to come but she say her friend when we were on the bus and then she decided to go with her friend. Aiyah! Alethea also never come. Sianz. Whatever it is, it was a fun time.
Monday going out with the Sheryls to watch movie at vivo. Yays. Can't wait. Later going to watch the Beijing Olympics Opening Ceromony at Nanyang Poly. It would be shown on a large screen in their hall. Nawirah said that one of the super juniors members is going to be present for the ceromony. Yy say that one of them is from china so ya la. Yays. Can't wait also. Anyways, i'll see you soon. Bye! :D

sop 1 laughing again like mad hyeenas!!!

Hey peeps. Well, monday got NAPFA and i got to train hard for my 5 stations. For my 2.4km run, sit up and inclined pull up i can get A. For standing broad jump and shuttle run i can get C. For my si and reach right, i don't want to talk about it. Cause i didn't reach until that far. On friday,my class had pe and we were able to try out the sit and reach station. When i did the station, i could only reach until 32cm. So sad. I want to aim for gold this year cause last year i actually can get gold one. Because of my sit and reach which caused my to get a D, i didn't get my gold. I zhun zhun got 21 points but if gt 1 D, no gold. Sianz. Train hard la.
Let's not talk about this. Tomorrow, i'm going to watch ms lee or is it ms li's concert which she performing as the alumni choir. She said that the youngest was 18 years old and the oldest is 28 years old. So that means they'll be singing quite old songs and they're an old choir already. Alehtea told me that she said to her that she was conducting us for the last time and at that moment, i felt sad. Sianz... On friday during choir, she let us have a level to level singing of doushite, eh no. I meant singing of ascendit deus. Hahas. I said doushite cause i was listening to it just now. Ya, well, getting back to the story, we were cheering and screaming like mad when every level went up to perform. Fisrtly it was the sec 1s who sang, followed byt the sec 2s and 3s. It was quite unexpected that the sop 1 sec 1s could sing quite well with not much mistakes. ME and YAN JIE kept giving them clues by humming the tune to them when they got lost. We (sop 1 section) didn't want them to sound bad so we tried our best to help them.
When it was our turn, the sec 2s were rushing to finish the whole song like mad. I was trying to keep up with the timing but it was getting faster and faster. It was not bad but i wouldn't say that it's perfect. The sec 3s were the best. Basically it was because thay they had the most experience in the choir and also that they had been singing for the longest time. We had so much fun. Sop 1 was damn HYPER that day cause of a joke. Me and yy knew the joke first and we told the rest of the section. It was damn funny. Everyone was laughing like MAD HYEENAS. Clara and Zhi Jun said that we were all NEW BORN SIAO GAOS. Hahas. Still can imagine the joke. We all laughed until out stomachs were aching like crazy. Hahas.
Well, gotta go do other stuffs now since i can relax like i want to. Byes!:D
