back to term 4

Hey peeps. This is going to be quite a short entry cause don't have much time to blog. Well, term 3 holidays are over so wake up! Term 4 is waiting ahead of you. It's waiting for you to finish it soon so that you can have the term 4 holidays soon. Imagine if you count, it's going to be only like 1 month before another holiday comes again. Isn't that so cool? But yeah, still got to drill hard for EOY exams. DRILL LIKE A CONSTRUCTION AREA!!!

Anyways, this may be my sort of last entry before the final year exams. Cause when it is approaching, i'll never ever get to touch the computer. I only get to see it, not touch it. Don't even let me think about using it, it's impossible. Only if i can find time to use the computer or else, heh heh, not any chance. Holidays ended, school started, and now term 4 holidays are approaching. Yeah! Hope that for this term's exam, i'll do well. Not excellent results but at least enables me to go to the choice that i want in sec 3 next year in 2009.
I want to take core geog and elect lit. That was my 1st option when the school gave the sec 2 their 1st option form. My 2nd option was core lit and elect geog, i think. Most of my seniors said that core geog very difficult and mostly people didn't do so well in that area. So they advised us to take core lit instead of core geog. Aiyah! So messy. I'll just have to try my best. Anyway, they will give the 2nd option form again the next time and i can see how confident i am in the subject and then choose carefully.
Well, we'll see about that soon eh? Got to keep this entry short. Ahh!!! Exams are killing me. Fortunately, i have been to this course organised by the 95.8FM radio station and it's like a motivational course by the Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Group. It was a 2 day course from the 1st sep to the 2nd sep at republic poly. It was damn fun and funny. Adam Khoo didn't come but his few trainers came. They were Melvin, Leroy and Freddy. The three of them were funny. Especially Melvin. He will come up with all the super 'dirty' jokes that always make us laugh. Freddy was the Care Bear, Roti Prata man and a Kungfu Panda. That was how Leroy and Melvin described him.
Freddy showed us funny 'engrish' phrases from websites. The word 'BALLS' was the one that made everyone excited, especially the boys. Leroy was a Porchindian. Damn cool right? It means that he is portuguese, chinese and indian. But he took malay as his subject. So weird. In the lecture theatre, we were seperated into 2 groups, then Melvin named my group Na Na Pok, and the other Ku Ku Bird. He wrote as Na(square) Pok and Ku(square) Bird. He said if any adults walk in he will say, "Oh and here you can find out that the Thai people have this very special dish called Sodium Pok." Get it? Na(square)?? Hahas.
We were also competing this tongue twister during Freddy's session. See who can say it the fastest. You can try it. It goes;

BETTY BOUGHT SOME BUTTER,
THE BUTTER WAS BITTER.
SO BETTY BOUGHT SOME BETTER BUTTER
TO MAKE THE BITTER BUTTER BETTER.

Try saying it slowly first. Then increase your speed gradually. See if you can beat 3.70 seconds if i'm not wrong. That was the fastest record during the course. But of course not by me la. By someone else that did it damn freaking fast. In conclusion, the course was fun. Melvin shared that 5 monkeys in the electrified cage story with the parents during the parents' session. Well, it was so fun i'll never forget it. Anyways, till after term 4 exams, bye! :(
