the year is ending

Hey peeps. Well, the year is ending soon and it's time to prepare for the new year. I kinda like this year a lot cause i had a lot of fun both in school and outside. Don't really want to leave this year. 2008 has been a great memorable memory etched in my mind.
Anyways, HAPPY 5th ANNIVERSARY DONG BANG! Sorry for the late wishes. It's the thought that counts eh? I hope that DBSK will achieve more in the future. Well, there's choir tomorrow and ms lim is going to come and talk to us about our performance during the SYF Exchange Concert at Hwa Chong Institution on the 29th November. We didn't manage to get the gold. Ms lim said that we lacked the feel in the songs and sounded like we were rushing to finish the song quickly. I guess that's what we need to improve.
I may not get to post an entry on 1st Jan 2009 cause maybe i'm not free and also cause my sister's birthday falls on that day. We'll be going to Suntec's NUSS Karaoke Lounge to celebrate. It'll be quite busy cause we have to entertain the guests and hee hee haa haa with them. There's going to be lots of people there so good luck then. Maybe my brother and i will sneak out of the room and go to the computer room to use the com. Heh heh.
It has been great fun this year. Not really looking forward to 2009 but time goes on and does not wait for anyone. I guess meeting new classmates is going to be one hurdle i have to overcome first. Bonding matters and with OBS, it can go through more smoothly. I really hope that my new class would be as bonded as my sec 1 and 2 class. I miss 2/7 so much i could cry out loud but the class 3/4 may be even more memorable... :D

Merry Christmas!

Hey peeps. Well, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! This morning, i was watching pops in seoul on arirang at 10am when the VJ, Isak showed SHINee saying christmas greetings on tv! SHINee introduced their album The SHINee World and also their new hit song Amigo was played. My brother was so happy his eyes lightened up. Then they told everyone watching them their new year wishes cause last time their wish was to get the Rookie Award and the Best New Artiste Award (which in the end, they got it). So since this wish was fulfilled, they decided to make another wish.
Tae Min was so cute cause the interviewer asked SHINee what they expected the most for chirstmas and Key said loudly, "Gifts! Presents!" Then tae min said that he believed in Santa Claus, so he knew that there was a 0.0001 percent chance that Santa would come when he's asleep and give him a christmas present. Hahas. So cute.
Then, there was this sort of 'countdown' for christmas so there was a category which was, "You would like to spent Christmas with". Then 3rd i'm not sure. 2nd is Big Bang. Guess who's 1st? DBSK was on the top of the list man! Yay! There was another category which was, "Those who believed in Christmas and Santa". 3rd was this particular member of 2pm. 2nd was Girls' Generation's Tiffany. Guess who's 1st? Tae Min was the 1st one who believed in Christmas and Santa. Hahas.
Anyways, school is going to reopen. Though i'm not excited about school, i would love to see my ex-classmates and get to know people from my new class. Sianz, monday still got choir. But finally i get to see the crazy people in sop 1 again. Kinda miss them since we haven't seen each other for quite some time. Also, there's pt on monday cause we didn't do pt for quite some time so it's time for us to work out. Well, Merry Christmas once again! :D

Hey peeps.Well, i'm finally back from my 5 day vietnam trip from the 5th to the 9th. We had to report to the airport at 12pm on the 5th and we reached there at 2pm vietnam time which was 3pm in singapore. When we flew back, we had to report at 9am vietnam time which is singaproe 10am and boarded the plane at 10.30am vietnam time which again meant that it was 11.30 singapore time. We reached singapore at 12 plus singapore time. The vietnam people were influenced by the french people cause last time the french took over vietnam. The houses in vietnam were tall and skinny like the french houses. It was fun there in vietnam but the things there were a little too costly so i didn't really do much shopping. Anyways, i went with my sister, my brother and my mother. My father didn't come cause he had already been there 2 times. Although the place was 1 hour before singapore, we were able to get used to it in no time.
I'm not going to tell you what happened the whole trip cause it will be an essay, of course. But basically, we visited ho chi minh city only and the traffic there was extremely terrible. The 'population' of motorcylces is more than the population of the number of people you know. God, the traffic was super horrible. There wasn't much traffic lights around and it was like whatever way you wanted to go, you just squeeze right through it. We took many photos of the traffic there as well. The hotel we stayed at was the Royal Pearl Hotel (also known as the KS. Tan Hoang Ngoc) on the 1st day and the 2nd day. The 3rd day we stayed at the Sammy Hotel. The 4th day we went back to the Royal Pearl Hotel and on the 5th morning, we went back. The hotels were quite nice and didn't cost that much. I prefer the Royal Pearl Hotel more cause the shower was better than Sammy Hotel. The breakfast at Royal Pearl Hotel was also better than Sammy Hotel, heh heh. :) We went to the chu chi tunnel which was meant for war. There were many underground tunnels which we had to squat to walk through them. Only when you reached the main rooms then you can stand up to walk properly. The tunnel was so small and everyone was like shouting, "Eh! Where are you? I can't see your butt! I'm so hot here i could die!" Hahas. Well, in the end, we pulled through and we sweating like mad when we came to the end. It was supposed to be a 10 minutes walk in the tunnel which meant that your legs will ache like mad when you come out but it only lasted for less than 10 minutes, suprisingly.
We went there with other families from singapore as well. There were 19 people together in the whole entire group. I brought back sweets for sop 1 to share as i'll be seeing you soon. It's coconut filled with different flavours like peanut, chocolate and durian. You can pick your choice when i bring it on the 29th. For the choir mini SYF exchange concert, we didn't manage to get the gold cause we weren't good enough. Nevermind, like what ms lim said, "If you're good dosen't mean you will be good next time. Same thing, if you're bad dosen't mean you will be bad mext time." Sianz, got to do pt on the 29th. But that's cause we haven't done any running for a long time so elsa wants us to run. Ahh!!! Run, run, run...
When i was in vietnam, i passed by a lot of places which had KOREAN words. I just went totally mad seeing it. Hahas. Passed by quite a number of korean restaurants as well cause korea invested in vietnam quite a lot so heh heh. Somehow, when we passed by this construction site, the signboard described the name of the company and guess what is the name? It's DONG BANG! Hahas. I just went totally mad. I wanted to take a picture of it and show it to you all but the bus went zoomed passs it so fast i wasn't in time. Hahas. At first, i also wanted to check out whether they were selling any korean stuffs there but nope. Whenever i see korean stuff, my sister will jsut roll her eyes at me. Heh, she's not so evil and bad la.It's jst that she's getting tired hearing me talk about korean stuff all day. Anyways. I saw many shops that had the tv channel ARIRANG on it as well. At the hotel, i was checking the channels and came across the channel that i totally want, KBS WORLD! On the 1st day, i watched this show from 10.30pm to 11.30 pm vietnam time which was STAR GOLDEN BELL AND SHINee WAS THERE! TAE MIN, ONEW AND MIN HO ALL LOOKED SO SHUAI AT THAT TIME! Key and jonghyun were not there sadly. My brother and i watched it and was so happy that we were laughing all the way throughout the show cause it was so funny. My brother also likes SHINee by the way.
Well, about the korean lesson thing, my mother told me that when i'm more ready then she let me learn. In the meantime, i'm reading this 'Instant Korean' book that teaches you the basic korean language. Aish! Well, just wait lor. Did you know, when we were going to the boarding gate to fly back to singapore, i saw korean airlines taking off the vietnam airport and i was so happy cause i haven't seen the real plane in front of my own eyes. Only when my sister went to korea, Busan then she took the picture. Other than that, i haven't seen it. Anyways, haven;t told you that i got into the combination of core geog! 6 people from my class will be in the same class as me. They are athena, nawirah, asyiqin, soniya, victoria and shawn. At least there is someone who can go DBSK and SHINee crazy with and that is nawirah. She like Junsu from DBSK and from SHINee, she like key and minho. Hahas. Well, got to go now and sorry for not updating my blog cause i was overseas. :D
