SYF Exchange at HCI Hey peeps, today we had a choir exchange at HCI from 7.45 to 1.30pm and i felt so angry with myself. Why? Cause for the kekatu song, i sang my solo part wrongly and i was so angry that i wanted to bang my head on the wall and cry. Wahh.... How could i afford to make such a mistake? It was such a silly mistake that i created. Stupid me... We had to report at 7.30am at tge foyer as attendance would be taken at 7.45am, and the choir would not wait for latecomers so we had to be there on time. We did a few warm-ups before we boarded the bus to HCI. At around 7.50am, we boarded thebus according to our classes and levels. So isat with si en for the bus trip there. Me and alethea were in the same bus while yy and yan jie were in the other bus. When we reached there, we were all so stressed cause all the otherv choirs were drilling like mad for it and we felt pressurized by the atmoshphere there. We went to a lecture theatre to do our 'rehearsals'. It totally didn't went well cause it's either sop 1 go out of tune, sop 2 or alto 1 too soft or alto 2's beginning note is unstable. Every section was so nervous that every single section had a problem they faced. So when it was time for us to move to the auditorium, we walked there feeling nervous and with butterflies in our stomachs. We were both nervous and excited over it. Yan jie and i kept trying to combine out solo parts together but still, THE PROBLEM LIES WITH ME. We were the 4th choir to perform and ms lim conducted us. I was in need of the toilet when the 2nd school was performing but elsa advised that we shouldn't go so i held it until after our performance. Cause i drank a whole bottle of PI PA GAO, so i was so urgent. But surprisingly, i didn't feel urgent during the performance. Maybe it's because i forgotten that i needed the toilet. We didn't sing well for the 3 songs namely white horse which is the set SYF piece and we were okay just that we didn't observe teh dynamics at all so not very nice to hear. For our jap song, ITSUKI, the high 'O' part was okay but the song didn't go well. Ms lim kept mouthing 'LOUDER' to the sop 2 and alto 1 and she told us that of we didn't want to sing well, we should get out. We fighted all the way for our last song, kekatu which was okay until the solo part. I totally screwed up the solo part. I guess it was because i got easily influenced by clara who was right behind me. Cause she sang her part loudly, i was influnced by her part and started singing wrongly. So i only managed to sing my last phrase but wrongly. After our performance, i went to the toilet with yan jie and we discussed about our performance. We watched all the other school perform as well as st. nics and nanyang girls'. ACS was so cute cause all their sops are small sized and are at the sec 1 to 2 range. But cannot hear them. Can understand cause they are boys so quite difficult to sing. Their SLs are like sec 1s, so cute. The ACS president taught the SLs how to teach their members. I was quite surpirsed when i saw the SLs. Didn't expect them to be so small sized. Hahas. Ms lim then ended the workshop by commenting on the schools that she didn't conduct and it was the JCs that were performing but the J1s just joined so they used files and also because they are not familiar with the song, they might stop the song halfway. We stayed until the JCs finished performing, we went back to school and this bus trip back to school, i sat right at the back with sheryl tan, alethea, xin yu and tat huey. Si en sat with risa so at least i didn't pang seh her so badly. I apologised to her and she accepted my apology. Our bus came back first so me and alethea waited for yy, yan jie and zj to come back for lunch together at parkway. When we came back, we saw band perparing for their concert at some place and they left when we came back from HCI. It looks like all the PA CCAs are busy with SYF and concerts. When they reached school, we walked to the bus stop to wait for the bus. I brought my korean cds along with me and zj was browsing through the SHINee photos when she almost dropped it onto the road. I was so scared at first but luckily never drop la. We sat bus 43 and ate at the foodcourt in parkway. Jeanette *(sorry if i spelt it wrongly) came to eat with us. Zj ate ban mian, yy and alethea shared a big claypot of rice, yan jie and xin yu ate ramyun while i ate chicken rice. Jeanette didn't eat so she did her theory work. We went to marks and spencer after our lunch. Zj, yy and alethea bought the 'PIG EARS' which i thought $2.50 for one packet was quite expensive. Yan jie bought an easter egg for $1.90 which i thought that was quite costly for 1 egg but not as costly as the pig ears. I 'KOP' 3 pig ears altogether from alethea and yy. Me, xin yu and jeanette didn't buy anything. Then we went to other shops to look see look see and then to mini toons. Me and yan jie kept laughing when we came out of mini toons because of an inside joke. It was so funny my stomach ached like mad. Then yy showed us a joke form a card and we kept laughing non-stop also. Zj went to stuff a receipt inside my pinafore and i had difficultly taking it out. Yy helped me with it and thanks to her, i felt free. Hahas. After all that jokes, we went to 7-eleven to buy some drinks but i didn't buy. I was like the MONEY-COUNSELLOR that day for everyone. Casue i kept telling them that it was a waste of money buying stuffs that are not necessary except for DBSK and SHINee stuffs. Heh heh. When they were paying for their things, 76 and 43 passed by so we had to wait for another bus to come. 135 came a while after that and yan jie, xin yu, jeanette and zj boarded the bus. 43 and 76 came later so yy, alethea and i decided to take 76 as it was faster. Alethea alighted at her house then me and yy swiched to bus 147 at the bus tip before opposite bowen sec. We waited for the bus for 1/2 an hour before it came. But we had fun talking and laughing at the FEDEX as well as the JAGABEE advetisement. It kept playing and playing and it made us laugh like mad. Then when 147 came, we boarded it and we suddenly talked about FART cause someone farted in the bus and it was very smelly. Hahas. Well, now i'm at home blogging. My sister just came back and she talked to me about today's workshop and i CRIED cause i was so sad about the solo part. She hugged me and i was so touched by it. It was not only because if the solo part that made me angry. I was also saddened by my bad results so yups. My chem results was so bad. My a-maths results is better than my e-maths. So weird but my sister says it's like that for her as well. Anyways, next week relasing SYF round 1 auditions and also got auditions by ms lim which is round 2. Next week also got lower sec assembly performance and the following week got upper sec assembly performance. Choir practice on 21st February 2009 Hey peeps, well the choir had practice today. Alethea, yy and i went to shi bei's house to practice as the sec 3 auditions were held that day. So i met yy at the school's front gate at 7.30am. Alethea went to shi bei's house first so she and shi bei brought yy and i to shi bei's house. We didn't really di any warm-ups so we just went to proceed along with the 3 songs. We sang white horses first, followed by itsuki and then kekatu. Is it like that? Can't really remember what was the order. But we practiced each songs for like 2-3 times, especially itsuki and kekatu before we went for choir practice. I thought that risa and shira would be comng also but unexpectedlly, they didn't come. We went out of shi bei's house to practice 'along the streets' cause we didn't want to disturb shi bei's family early in the morning. We were like some walking parade singing everywhere. While we were singing, a squrriel came along and it went pass shi bei's house before going back. When we were singing, our notes were like totally crap. I was so tired cause i just had my taekwondo training the day before so i was extremely tired and it felt like i lacked half of my energy. After a while, i felt better and more awake and the notes that we sang were much better as well. Then at around 8.45am, we walked from shi bei's house to school. We were so nervous about the auditions that we kept singing along the way. Before choir started, we did PT. Erm, we did 2 rounds of running and then 15 push-ups or sit-ups. After PT, we proceeded to beethoven room to do warm-ups before ms chai came. Ms chai came but she wasn't feeling well cause her voice was not as good as before. We did the 3 songs and then after the 3 songs, she and ms tong auditioned some particular members form each section. 1 to 2 members from each section were grouped by ms tong and then they were auditioned at the MEP workroom. Nadia, samantha, clara, zhi jun, yan jie and i were not auditioned. They said that were already IN for SYF, but how can it be? Never audition then can get in already meh? So weird, but while the others were auditioning, the 6 of us went to practice the songs in another room. I asked elsa whether those who didn't autition today would be auditioned on wednesday, and she said maybe so i better revise well. Anyways, clara kept making me 'VIBRATE' today and this made the whole section laugh. I could hold it so just vibrated. Well, i've got to have my dinner now. I'm very hungray ah, so need to eat. I'm also going to buy the TWILIGHT DVD. Quite nice you know, cause yogga and soniya influenced me so yups. Bye! :D blogged by weewee at 6:58 PM

Happy Late 21st Birthday Changmin! Happy 21st birthday CHANGMIN! Sorry for the late wishes cause i Was having my Elect Lit and my E-Maths paper that day which i think I totally didn't do well for it.  Really felt so bad for the late wishes. Sorry sorray ah! Hahas. :) Well, hey peeps. Today i had my A-maths paper which was unexpectedly quite okay to cope with. I thought that it was going to be like super difficult but it was okay to cope, EXCEPT for the LAST QUESTIONS which was worth 10 MARKS. I think i totally screwed up the whole thing so that means 10 marks is gone for me. Sad ah. My geog paper also, i drew the diagram of the Nazca plate colliding with the South American Plate which forms the Peru-Chile Trench and the Andes mountains right? But i forgot to box it up and give the title. My marks just 'flew' away like that. What a waste. I also didn't have time to write more for the LORMS questions. I only had 2 points and to get more marks should have 3 points. Aiyoh! For the social studies and lit paper, i wrote like madness. For lit, i practically just wrote down the whole family history of Boo Radley plus the other important stuffs which added up to 3 PAGES FULL. I think i overshot the word limit already. It's supposed to be 300 to 400 words but i think i wrote more than that. Then on wednesday, i went to study a-maths with alethea, yan jie and yy. Yy brought along some of her friends to study physics together. Since alethea and i were not taking physics, we sat outside the room at video world to do our work while the physics people studied together. After a while, yan jie joined alethea and i and the 3 of us studied a-maths together. We all went back when it was 5 plus cause it seemed quite late and we still had another paper the next day so we all went home to do our own revision. Also, vivi gave me a packet full of sweets for the late valentine's day gift. Thanks a lot! :) On wednesday, the sec 2s and 4s were having their SYF auditions. At first i thought that it was round 1 with ms tong and ms chai but then yy say that she only saw the SLs inside. So weird. The sec 2s were able to choose 1 of the 3 songs to sing and most of them chose itsuki, which was expected cause that song is easier to sing rather than white horses and kekatu. So good! But the sec 3s will be having their auditions tomorrow and ms lim is coming tomorrow, so sure die one la. Ahh!!! I confirm sure stone there when the auditions by ms tong and ms chai (round 1) and even more scarier, ms lim (round 2). Oh no! OTTOKE, OTTOKE?! Yy, this is the 10 Random Things About Me (I know it's a little late) 1) Hmm... I like hanging out with friends. 2) I like to watch nice movies with my friends and family 3) I love DBSK and SHINee (obviously) 4) I love to going overseas, especially somewhere far... 5) I laugh a lot but can be 'quite' serious when i have to. (do i?) 6) Music is the only thing that i love the most. 7) I love my seniors so i'm going to cry when they leave (who will not?) 8) I am a light sleeper so you can wake me up easily with just a little noise 9) I am the only left-hander in my family so you can say that it's unique. 10) I love my family (what a nice ending to it! Hahas.) Well, wish all the sec 3s good luck for tomorrow's audition. Sianz, today exam just finish then tomorrow got another 'exam'. Stress ah... Happy Valentine's Day 2009! Hey peeps, well it's Valentine's Day so there's love filled in the air. Ahh... How romantic. Speaking of romantic, i got the 2 albums that my sister's friend, shu wei bought for me at korea. At first i wanted to pay her back in sing dollars but she say nevermind. I felt a little bad that she bought it for me but anyways, THANKS A MILLION SHU WEI! :D Well, for this year's valentine's day, i recieved more 'love' around from friends, classmates, juniors and most inportantly, SENIORS from my school. I admit that I DO LOVE MY SENIORS! Cause only they have the X-Factor that is left behind from the last year sec 4 seniors. I bet i'll CRY when they leave. It's so sad... Last year i didn't get much love around but i'm quite satisfied with this year's 收获. But i feel bad cause everyone bought something for me but i didn't get anything for them. I told them, 经期不好，所以没有买. But the fact is that i'm quite broke and don' have much money to spare for valentine's day gifts. Before Valentine's Eve, i made little notes for my section people as we had choir the next day so yup. I did it unil 11pm then i went to sleep cause i was so tired and because i had e-maths test the next day. For my e-maths quiz, i got the 1st questions right which was 144 something. Cause i forgot to leave line, i redo the question again and i ended up with an answer 16 something. I just wasted like 4 to 5 marks i think. Wahh... Yesterday, i received jing yi's DOVE CHOCLATE. Then i received shafurah's (sorry if i spelt it wrongly) CLOUD 9 CHOCLATE SNACK. Then isabelle gave me a TOLBERONE CHOCOLATE. After that, while i was folding the notes for my section, alethea came in and gave me a PACK OF SWEETS INSIDE. After she left, yy, yan jie and came in to wish me a HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY. Then i recived a LOLLIPOP from shawn. During recess, zhi jun came into my class, wrote HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to me and left a PACK OF MnMs, 2 MERCI CHOCLATES and a NOTE. It felt so sweet at that moment. Then before choir, vidhya gave me a NOTE. After school, when me, yy, yan jie and alethea were walking to the canteen to have our lunch, we saw vidhya, nadia, samantha and cassandra writing something. They said, "Eh! It was supossed to be a surpirse!" Then all of us said, "Okay, we didn't see anything." Hahas. During choir, ms lim came for her session with us. The 2006 and 2007 presidents came back to see us. Jia En from sop 2 also came back. Anyways, they came to give us sweets as well as to wish us good luck for our SYF. They gave us sweets as well. That day was friday the 13th so i don't know if it's counted as bad luck but to me i felt stressed towards it. You know that we have a SYF piece KEKATU right? There are supossed to be 4 soloists at this particular part. Ms lim chose, clara, zhi jun. yan jie and me. The 1st part is sung by zhi jun, follwed by yan jie, clara and then lastly me. So we will end our parts accordingly. So that meant that i was the last one to end! When ms lim asked who were the soloists, clara wanted to pick jerlene, laura, yan jie and me but ms lim said that she wanted both of them inside. Jerlene and laura didn;t want it so clara chose me and yan jie. We felt so stressed up cause ms lim wanted it perfect in 10mins time. We went to the janacek room to learn and cause i didn't learn music, it was even more stressful for me. :( At first, we couldn't get our parts well enough and clara was supossed to sing the 2nd one but she switch with yan jie who was supossingly supossed to sing the 3rd part. Zhi jun's part was the easiest cause most of us learnt it before. The other parts were like madness and strange to us. When clara was playing the parts, zhi jun kept saying that she could see a 'volcano' erupting. Hahas. Clara stayed in the room, yan jie had learnt that part before so she went out to pracrice on her own walking around. Zhi jun went out with me to learn. Because i didn't learn music, she taught me and it was a HUGE SUCCESS! I was so happy i managed to complete it i BANGED MY HAND SO HARDLY ON THE TABLE SHOUTING, "YES!" We couldn't really combine our parts together but we did it 2 by 2. Like the top 2 and the bottom 2. We couldn't combine all 4 parts together cause we were not really 100% sure about it and we couldn't really hear ourselves that much. Ms lim didn't hear us combine but i think she knew that we were trying very hard. When she left, zhi jun left quite a while after cause she had tuition. Then the sops and altos spilted up for sctionals. The sops went janacek while the altos were in the janacek room. Then after me, clara and yan jie felt more sure of our parts, we went to sing with the sops. But it wasn't good. It was just a trial run only. That valentine's eve was a tiring but stressful day for me. Ms lim wanted to hear the 100% confirmed one by wednesday but me and yan jie are not coming cause we got CAs, so it's probably 100% one on friday. Sad ah... After choir, i went to watch my sister's musical "Here Lies Love" by her Kent Ridge Hall at the NUS Cultural Centre. Dawn and Mercy performed too and i saw jacq and gladys going there to support half of their fantastic 4 which was my sister and mercy and all 4 of vthem were from tkgs. Dawn, mercy and my sister were the essemble choir singing with the lead roles namely, romeo, juliet, paris and the director. The musical was nice but i didn't really understood what the musical was trying to tell. Heh heh. Today was the actual valentine's day and when i reached school, i got a SMALL PACK OF SWEETS AND A BLUE BALLOON from yan jie. Then YY came and she gave me a BAR OF CHOCLATE AND A SWEET ATTACHED TO IT WITH A RED NOTE. Then i got this PACK OF SWEETS AND CHOCLATES (which contained ferero roche inside) from tat huey i think. Can't remember who gave it to me but should be her la. Then i got a LOLLIPOP from jerlene. Then warissara gave me a FROG CHOCOLATE AND A NOTE. Samantha gave me a NOTE AS WELL. We had choir practice from 9 to 12pm. We did physical warm-ups at the basketball court, ran 3 rounds and did 10 sit-ups before we went to the beethoven room to cool down and get ready for choir. When ms chai came, we did kekatu and itsuki. For kekatu, zhi jun, clara, yan jie and i went out to practice again and combined with the whole choir. At first, i couldn't remember my parts well enough and had forgotten some parts of it. After much practice, i remembered it and all 4 of us managed to combine without much mistakes. Then when we combined with the whole choir which ms chai was conducting, we had to spread out so that we would be able to hear ourselves more clearly. Clara and zhi jun stood near sop 1 while me and yan jie stood near the alto 2s. It was corract but it sounded weird though it ended correctly with me being the last one. After kekatu, it was itsuki and it was okay but not perfect. Ms chai left a pack of yuppi heart shaped sweets for the choir. At first, ms yin was bringing the chung cheng girls to our school to see the 'good example' of a choir but in the end they didn't come. Well, it was an okay day today. But i thought that on wednesday, ms chai is coming and not ms lim? I thought that ms lim's slot is always friday? But maybe she coming on wednesday you also don't know. Good luck to sop 1 and the other 2 soloists, zhi jun and clara for wednesday's practice! Tomorrow yy, tan jie, alethea and me will be studying together at yy's house for social studies paper on monday and for me and alethea, we had an extra biology paper during the 2nd period on monday. Sian ah, next week is my concentrated ca and i've got to buck up cause my past papers' result are not that good to i need to pull it up with next week's ca. The CA schedule is as follows; Monday- Social Studies (Period 1) Biology (Period 2) Tuesday- Chemistry (Period 1) Core Geography (Period 2) Wednesday- Elective Literature (Period 1) E-Maths (Period 2) Thursday- A-Maths (Period 1) Physics (Period 2) *BUT I'M NOT TAKING Well, this post is a super long one cause i have a lot of things to say about Valentine's Eve and Valentine's Day. Yunho's birthday choir practice, lunch plus plus Happy 23rd birthday YUN HO! Ying yun, alethea and athena Would be so happy for you! Sorry for the late wishes cause I was tired after my TKD training. Continue to take care of DBSK and Your beloved Jae Joong... :)  Here's a picture i dedicate for you and jae joong. What a cute YunJae picture! (Whose hand is that on Yunho's arm?) Hahas. Funny ah...  Hey peeps. TODAY WAS THE SM TOWN LIVE CONCET AT BANGKOK! Ahh... i want to go but cannot fly there la. It started at 7pm so it should have ended by now la. Well, this is week 5 and in week 7, CAs are coming. Today we had choir from 9am to 12pm. We went to assemble at the foyer to have pur physical training session from 9am to about 9.30am including cooling down. We ran 5 rounds around the basketball court. Aiyah, it's quite little acutally. I thought that they would make us run more. After our cooling down, we headed for beethoven room to do our warm-ups. Clara and grace led the warm-ups and then ms chai came. Anyways, ms chai is our new assistant conductress cause ms yin is busy with other school's practices so she wasn't able to make it for our session. Then ms lim found a replacement for ms yin and it's ms cherie chai. Yup, she's okay but just that she speaks a little softly and i can't hear her clearly. She's okay and all, just her speaking volume, that's all. Practically during our songs, the high parts sounded like dogs barking and it was you know you know. (You Know Yun Ho?) Hahas. During our session with ms chai, ms yin came back. She saw that ms chai was tapping the beat with a wooden stick and she was quite facinated by it. Hahas. Well, i also didn't expect that she will use that for the beat. Heh heh. Well, after the practice, the usual people went to eat lunch together. They were yan jie, alethea, me plus some newcomers namely, vidhya and nadia. Tat huey coulnd't lunch with us cause she had to go home urgently and the missing person who was not there was YY. She didn't lunch with us cause her parents came already hence she couldn't make it. Sad ah...(that's what clara, grace and vivien always say). When i cooked the cup noodles, i cooked it WRONGLY. Suppose to add water first then add the ingrdients right? I added all the ingedients inside together and poured the soup away. Yan jie, alethea, vidhya and nadia kept laughing at my foolish way. Yan jie and i were so hungry we ate one more and THAT time, i cooked it correctly. Luckily, but i kept choking on the noodles cause yan jie kept making laugh. Our noodles turned out whitish though we mixed it like mad. According to esther, she said that jae joong's real birthday was actually the 4th Feb but cause his mother say not auspicious so she changed it. If his birthday really on 4th Feb, then esther said that 5th Fab is the YunJae day. Hahas. My sister's friend, shu wei managed to buy back the stuff that i asked her to buy when she's at Korea and that is DBSK's MIROTIC album as well as SHINee's AMIGO album that is not yet in Singapore yet. Yays! :) Ying yun asked alethea, tat huey, yan jie and me whether we want to study together for exams and since she stays so near my house, it's okay with me. But i can't make it on saturday just to inform you guys, or girls? Cause i have my e-maths tuition every week from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. Sorry but we shall talk about this on monday when we see each other okay? Well, it's getting a little late and i've got sleep cause i need to faster finish up on my homework. I've got e-maths test on indices either on tuesday or wednesday and geog time-based assignment on plate tectonics as well as earthquakes on monday.
