Nothing to do but truth or dare

Hahas, pratically escape was closed today. Only opened on saturdays, sundays and public holidays so it was sort of a wasted trip. Then wanted to go prawning (prawn fishing) but it was too expensive. In the end, we ended up at white sands macdonalds playing truth or dare while eating. Funny, we were there in the morning and back there in the afternoon. Hee hee... We just walked around white sands, went to neoprint shops to just sit and talk in the 'cubicles', ate yoghurt and then went home. Heh, funny outing. All because of escape... :S
I was the first one to reach pasir ris mrt station because i didn't expect the bus from my house to directly reach pasir ris interchange. Heh heh, then shi ling came when i thought sara was next. After that, hui ru followed by sara reached. The 4 of us went to macdonalds to sit down while waiting for the other half of the group. We were supossed to meet at 10am but we ended up wating until around 11.30 then everyone came. Hahas... :D
The 4 of us were so tired, especially hui ru who kept saying that she was being deprived of her sleep. After exploring hui ru's truth or dare game, hui ru went to buy hot cakes for her breakfast. Sara pured the whole honey syrup on the hot cake. Sheesh, so much. But it looked sweet. Of course it did... Then shi ling and i went to look for either the shuttle bus to escape or a bus that goes to escape. Halfway through, it started raining heavily and before you knew it, shi ling and i were wet. Heh heh, it was as if 2 crazy girls running in the rain.
When we were walking to the bus interchange, shi ling and i saw xae-rl so we walked back to macdonalds together. When we returned, shawn came already. While wating for the other 2, we were playing dai-dee. After that, we met valerie inside white sands and walked to a bus stop after the rain to meet athena. The 8 of us went to the bus interchange and waited for the bus. Unlike what we expected, escape and wild wild wet was closed. Xae-rl and i wanted to watch meatballs after having a meal of meatball soup but the movie was not showing anymore. At the food court, we were "BREWING" a "HERBAL SOUP" made up of meatball, soup, chilli, soya sauce, miso soup, many others and most importantly, "ICE KACHANG"... :D
We were planning to go prawning but it was $13 per hour which meant evryone had to pay $1 plus and it wasn't very worth it. So it was back to macdonalds and we played the truth or dare game while eating. It was fun and interesting but hui ru haven't attempted the prank call yet. Shi ling clapped her hands with shawn's slippers in a circle and shawn said welcome to the people who were entering the fastfood restaurant. Hee hee, so fun. Lucky i didn't get any dare, all because i kept choosing truth which is easier to answer.

Ha, then we just went white sands to walk around and after that we went home. It wasn't really a wasted trip because we did had fun. Especially about what happened in the neoprint booth that made the whole group escape out of it. Heh heh, inside joke... All because of SHI LING. Hee hee... Okay, got to go now. :D

Operation Cleanup

Hee hee, today was operation cleanup and i didn't have much to do. Numbers 36 to 41 wasn't on the board and if your number is not on the board, you can simply just do anything or help around. I only helped qian hui to move the tables outside the class around and arrange it in 1 row, that's all.

Sigh, tmr will be the last day to relax before the sec 3 extended studies begin and when it does, it feels as if it's like sec 4 and that time is running short. Even before you know it, the o' levels are here. Man does time fly past so quickly... :S

Wells, nothing much to blog. Just wanted to upload some pictures in the post. It's something that xae-rl did to my desk before the fyes. Hahas, she used my liquid paper and wrote something on my desk and it was left there since. Hee hee, and i was busy cartooning myself just now. I'll post these 2 pictures later.

I was also facebooking around, looking at the video that was taken during open house when the choir sang the 2 songs. Hahas, so malu... Some more i always stand at the 1st row corner left from where the conductor is standing at. Haha, i always get that position. Since sec 2, i think... Yay, tmr going to escape. I can't wait. Now there's more people going; hui ru, sara, shawn, valerie, athena, me, shi ling (need to confrim) and xae-rl (asking tonight). It's going to be fun and thrilling, especially with all the meis around. Haha... :D

Today after checking of e-math paper, it was recess and i was helping sara to carry her 'new' bag. It was like a gambling bag cause the design had spades, hearts, clubs, spades and dices. The colour was also black and red with a white background. Then yy and yan jie thought i had a new bag, so they keep asking, "Jie Ning, why you got new bag?" I kept replying them it wasn't my bag, it was my friend's one. Hahas, then yy said, "Jie Ning, why your bag the colour so weird one? Got red, black and white. Like orh ceh (blueblack)." :S

We had a lot of fun and yy kept laughing non-stop because it was so hilarious. It was sort of aruguing in a fun and hilarious way. Crazy choir people, especially the sop 1s. Always have some kind of laughing non-stop disease spreading throughout since i entered the choir in sec 1. Hee hee... Anyways, got to go now. Wednesday and thursday are the bio and chem mock spa respectively. I better revise well before the o' level spa next week. It's 20% and i think this kind can score so jia you! :D

New slippers from da jie!

YAYS, got a pair of new slippers from da jie. It's 'new urban male' (aka havaianas) slippers, pale green in colour. I didn't know what havaianas was, only new urban male and i also didn't know that havaianas slippers cost that much. It's original price was $39.90 but they were having a sale in my sister's school, selling it at only $10. What a great bargain!Hahas, thank you so much da jie! :D

But before that i will be going to have breakfast with yy and yan jie. Sigh, but my results are not that good. I got like A, B, C and D grades already. So far haven't get back e-maths. Hopefully it's better than my a-maths so i can use it for my L1R5. Sigh, just have to work harder. :( Hey, cheer up cause there's no school on tuesday due to promotion day. Heh heh, will be going to escape with the meis. Yay, should be going. Should be only, unless something urgent crops up... :S

Haeundae: The Deadly tsunami

Went to watch haeundae: the deadly tsunami. It was a nice show but a little draggy at the front part. I went with hui ru, shi ling, shawn and sara to watch at tampines mall gv. I was asking shi ling when will the tsunami come and after we sort of 'complained' to ourselves, the tsunami did arrived. Whoosh, the impact on the city wasn't as great as i had expected although it was quite bad. I thought it would be sonething similar to the day after tomorrow but most of the buildings still remained. Sigh, wanted to watch cloudy with a chance of meatballs but they only had the 3D type and it costs $10 which was what i had brought out... >.<
Hahas, but i didn't mind haeundae because it had something related to geog and i like this kind of stuff. My sister told me that in 'meatballs' (commonly what i would say even though many call it 'cloudy'), they showed how a hurricane, or is it a cyclone, was formed. Anyways, i was quite surprised that the movie would show something like that. Wells, firstly the 5 of us met and tampines mrt station and headed for lunch at long john silvers. We walked up and down just to decide where to eat. Then after lunch, it was MOVIE TIME! Then we watched the movie until around 3 plus then we walked around tampines mall.
We went to popular first, then to minitoons (haha, i saw SOMETHING there when we entered the shop which only shi ling and hui ru knew who i hoped wouldn't mind if i bought that "SOMETHING" there, making me feel so "MALU"), then to some stall, i forgot the name of the shop. It sold like forever friends type of things. Man, why can't i remember? Is it hallmark? Hahas, nevermind. It doesn't really matter... :D Anyways, we had lots of fun exploring the nice things in there. The prices of the items was shocking. The price of 1 bear was about the price of a buffet meal... >.<
After that, we headed for starbucks and shawn, hui ru plus shi ling bought something to drink. I didn't cause i didn't have enough money. Even if i had, i wouldn't want to cause i didn't really like coffee. Although i haven't tried starbucks in my entire life, like one cup of coffee, no matter hot or cold, it didn't matter. After starbucks, we went to burger king to get something to eat. Shawn bought onion ring and hui ru bought like some fish or chicken fingers. :)
After all that everyone headed home by the mrt. Well, tomorrow's marking so there's no school. Yay, but i'm super scared for checking of scripts... I pray hard that i wouldn't be so disappointed with myself. Hopefully i did okay, i hope! :S Oh yeah, THANKS FOR SENDING ME RING DING DONG SARA!!! I was looking for it for a very long time. Also, THANK YOU SHI LING FOR SENDING ME THE 一枝梅SONG. Sorry for forgetting to get from you since term 3, heh heh... Lastly, THANK YOU HUI RU FOR THAT AWSOME TOOTHBRUS HOLDER! I was in need of one actually and i was thinkin of buying a new one. Hahas, hui ru also gave evryone 1 each i think. It was meant for the sleepover actually... :D

Marina Barrage LJ

Haha, today we went for learning journey at marina barrage with 3/5 and 3/6. We were split into more than 3 groups per class. As usual, the usual 5 of the last was in the last group. Hahas, you can guess who already. They are; Victoria, Me, Xae-rl, Shawn and Yogga according to our index order. We went together with the 2nd last group of the class which consisted of people like soniya, simret, si en, valerie, hui hui, shafura, etc as well as one group from 3/5. We had lots of fun today - playing and exploring the marina barrage campus.

I went there once and there wasn't nothing much to do except eating steamboat because i went at night. But unexpectedly when i went there today in the daytime, there was quite a lot to explore. I didn't get to go to the gallery to explore last time but this time it was fun because i went in with classmates and we had a ball of a time inside, laughing and also exploring, getting to know the marina barrage better since we were geog students, linking all the weather conditions which may lead to flooding from our own contextual knowledge. Hahas, it was fun. It was quite a pity we didn't get to go up to the roof to fly the kite because there was a lightning warning stating that no kites are allowed to be flown.

However, we did get to keep the kites that were given to us. Funny, i got an ultraman kite which looked so boyish that i felt a little embarrassed as i was carrying it. Hee hee... Anyways, we also did the boat experiment 1st. My group's experiment involved the balloon and a milk carton. We had loads of fun too, trying to make the boat move forward. I blowed as much air as i could into the balloon through the straw and i ended inhaling up a bit of the smelly air from the balloon. Tasted a bit funny... Hahas, but it was a good experience, especially with 3/4 since our class haven't really gotten together for this type of learning journey after such bonding events such as the cross country was prosponed.

Well, after returning from marina barrage, we had to proceed to the hall for the deeparaya 'concert'. I was already feeling tired at that point in time but we were not allowed to go home. During the 'concert', i saw many people falling asleep so i sort of slept for a while, lying onto hui ru's bag and ended up with a big mark on my thigh after i woke up. Hahas, after the concert ther was choir and it wasn't so bad after all. Ms lim indeed was angry at first but after much hard work that we put in, the smile on her face lifted our spirits up. However, we cannot be complacent about this and must continue working hard to be able to achive good reuslts if we are going overseas next year.

Zhi jun came by and talked to me, asking me how i was while introducing her toy that she was holding from the kinder joy eggy chocolate snack. She made the wheel fly up to the air-con of the avt while demonstrating to me how it worked. I told her i would see if the kinder joy i have in my fridge is the exact same one. Maybe i might get lucky and get the exact same one as what she had lost. I'll see if it's the one, if not then i'm so sorry... >.<

Inter-class netball and frisbee competition

Today was the inter-class netball competion. We were against 3/1, 3/2, 3/3 and 3/5. The competition between different classes was tough but we managed to get quite a good result despite the fact that we didn't get into the semi-finals. For the inter-class frisbee competition, our class was superb! We got the champion for and and everyone was so happy and proud of our class when we heard the news. Although we didn't get into the semi-finals, everyone had fun playing netball despite the weird weather with hot, scorching sun at one moment, and rainy rain at the other. :S

I didn't know how netball worked and how to play it so yesterday i went to sort of 'research' on it as well as watch some videos on youtube to see how people played netball. So funny, i came across this video that showed some school also having inter-class netball comepetition and somebody recorded it. I watched it for fun and heard, "Aiyoh, refree kayu!" Hahas, so funny... I printed out the netball court positions and noted what the different roles and rules were. >.<

There were 7 roles; centre, goal defence, goal attack, goal shooter, goal keeper, wind attack and wing defence. I was the goal keeper and i could only stand in the opponent's one-third area, including the circle. Basically, i just needed to defend the ball from entering into the opponent's goal which was quite tough as the pole stood at 3m plus tall. I did my best to save the ball though... There were many 'obstructions' going on. All that physical contact made the game a little rough because they weren't so strict with the rules. Quite a number of people fell and injured their knee. Sigh, but i do agree that it was fun. Our overall score was 7, quite good right?

Yup yup, then we went to the hall for 2 talks on eating healthy food and ensuring that we consume safe food. Hahas, the mascot for AVA was an asian otter called Oscar. So cute, i like the face and the tail. So cute, especially the way when it walked and swayed. Heh heh, okay... Going to facebook to play UNO with people from other countries. So fun to play, just that it's a bit slow cause the players a bit lagging. Yay, tomorrow going to marina barrage for learning journey. It's going to be fun although there's not much to do there. Mostly only flying kites and having a picnic. Hahas, bye! :DD

But i know we'll keep in contact always and will get to see each other often right? :DD

I just realised how many people i have not wished happy birthday to. There's just to many... Sara, hui ru, etc. But whoever it is, i wish you a very happy belated birthday. Although i only got to know you guys (erm...) or girls (sounds weird, like a teacher: "Girls...") this year. You mean a lot to me and i'll bring memories that i've spent with everyone of you along with me. Everytime i browse through the photos that we took in class or videoworld, etc (almost everywhere), i always laugh and wished that all of this could happen again. Looking back into happy memories seems as if it's the best things that can happen to me. Those who are closer to me would know my personality and would know i'll tresure them in a place close to me heart (i need not say which side and chamber right?) Hahas... <333

Those who's birthdays are already over, like xae-rl and shi ling, i just wanna say a happy belated birthday again and those who's birthdays are approaching like valerie, be joyful and look forward to it. It marks the start of the 15th year of your life. Hahas, just think about it... In 10 years time, you will be 25 and 30 years from then you'll be 55. Gosh, time just flies so fast that you don't even realise it. Everytime i see my siblings or parents and relatives going for their class gatherings from their old schoolmates, i always ponder and look forward to it in the future.

I'm so happy that the fye is over. But i'm strating to worry about the big O's next year. Although it's next year, it seems as if it's shortening every single day. Got to gear up to get into the jc that i want. Hopefully my wishes will come true. Sigh, i was browsing through the pictures in my phone when i realised that i had quite some injuries. Also, i'm kinda sick and unwell now but i still went for my fye exams. I felt sick at around saturday and had a fever on sunday. Recovered pretty soon but was coughing and sneezing quite a lot. I'm so sorry to xae-rl for sneezing and coughing so much during the papers, i couldn't help it. Sorry for being so noisy and disturbing you. Hahas... I guess tomorrow i may not be able to sing during choir. Although i very much want to because i want to help the section during the session that we're gonig to have with ms lim, but i just can't. I tried singing at home but my throat hurts like crazy. I would cough and wheeze like every 2 lines of words that i try to sing. Hopefully, i will get well soon... >.<

Yay, going to marina barage on friday. Going to have a lot of fun on that day with all the MEIS! Cao mei, suan mei, fa mei, lan mei, shuai mei, bo mei and dao mei. All the meis are also going to sleepover at dao mei's house. Haha, it's going to be a ball of a time! Sara says xae-rl is the gang leader, and i kinda agree... :) That hui ru keeps on laughing about this sentence : "BRING A PEN AND......... WALLET." I guess the way she thinks it sounds is funny. Hahas, my mei name is kinda weird. Cause if the fruitree fresh advertisement, the mei thing started. Xae-rl strated it by saying that the big fat bluberry was me and the way it sounded as it went up sounded like my name too. It was supossed to be, "LAN MEI.........!!!", not "JIE NING.........!!!" I also don't know why she say it sounds like, but i'm fine with that mei name. Hahas!!!

(i didn't know it had this function until they

started playing it). Whenever you guess the

correct integer, you sort of kena 1 chop.

Sara was the ultimate winner most of the

time. I was always like the runner-up...

(i had 6 chops on my arm while sara had 9) >.<

Heyo, got to go now. I guess now my favourite word to start off now would be heyo. Hahas, i need to do lots of transferring and downloading of songs into my com, phone and mp3 player. I had a lot of fun this morning with the meis while we had subway for breakfast. Hahas... Sara, shawn and me made valerie, jovina, qian hui and hui ru miss 5 busses that went to school all because we missed the traffic light and walked slower. Hee hee, funny... Bye, HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY TO SHAWN AGAIN! Hope you liked the gift... I told sara that i was expecting you would ask me, "What's that?" then i say it's for you. But you got your gift after all!!! :DDD
